What an amazing place! It was my first time visiting the area. We parked by the farm to check out the animals, then walked over to the Bison Playground. Even though it is a close walk from one area to another, it felt like an adventure. My toddler loved it here! Surprisingly the playground wasnβt busy so we did not need to wait. On busy weekend days, it is recommended to arrive at the beginning of the time slots to allow for longer play time.

Nice short hike to farm, no animals out today though. The Nature center has some nice educational items about the birds and animals found on the grounds and the trails are well maintained.

Has a real Red Dead Redemption feeling to it. Like you're riding into Rhodes or walking to the barn from the train station. It really is a great place to unwind and become one with nature. I wish I could've bought the chicken hat in the gift shop. BTW the gift shop is in an old style home from the late 1890s I think not to sure, could be 1900s though. Great trails if that's your thingand there's a petting zoo too.
